The Federal Reserve Board (“Fed”) approved a proposed rule on June 10 that would require U.S. bank holding companies (“BHCs”) with total consolidated assets of $50 billion or more to submit an annual capital plan to the Fed for review and to provide prior notice, under certain circumstances, before making a capital distribution.
