Australia: New Immigration Rules Come into Force and Visa Application Fees Increase 

KPMG in Australia reports on some recent developments concerning immigration and foreigners working in Australia, including firstly a new Act which tightens the regulatory regime governing the employment of non-Australian citizens and permanent residents, and which carries new no-fault provisions and secondly, an increase in the government charge for lodging a 457 visa application.
