The Netherlands – Advocate General Conclusion on 150-Km Boundary and 30% Ruling 

KPMG Meijburg & Co in the Netherlands reports that there have been recent court cases concerning the question of whether the 150-kilometer boundary rule in the context of eligibility for the 30% ruling is discriminatory in the context of European Union (EU) law. Recently, the Advocate General, counselor of the Dutch Supreme Court, concluded the 150-kilometer boundary rule that pertains to eligibility for the 30% ruling is not discriminatory.
