Ireland – Aims to Attract ICT-Sector Workers 

KPMG in Ireland reports that the government has announced its intention to re-vamp the employment permit process for non-EU nationals coming to work in Ireland in the information and communications technology (ICT) sector. Changes to the current employment permit process are viewed as central to achieving the aim of issuing 700 additional permits for the sector in 2013. No formal announcements have yet been made implementing any changes being considered.
