The Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection (“CFPB” or “Bureau”) has released Bulletin 2012-06 to provide guidance to banks and nonbanks under the CFPB’s supervision and enforcement authority (“supervised banks and nonbanks”), their affiliates and service providers on the Bureau’s expectations regarding the marketing and sales of add-on products to credit card consumers.
