Norway – New Budget Tweaks Individual Taxation, But No Major Changes

KPMG Law Advokatfirma in Norway reports on the recently announced budget for 2013. Several measures were announced that make adjustments to the tax system, but no major changes were included impacting individuals. Among the measures covered in this newsletter are: a new rate for the minimum allowance, adjusted income brackets for the surtax on personal income, a slight change to the personal allowance, and an increase in the threshold for the net wealth tax, etc.
