KPMG in Vietnam reports that the National Assembly has passed a resolution to provide relief for businesses and individuals in light of economic difficulties this year, including a six-month tax exemption for “first-threshold” income earners, as well as a full-year tax exemption for certain rental income, income from child-care services, and income from providing “mid-shift” meals to workers.
