United States - Parts of South, Mid-West Deemed Federal Disaster Areas 

The U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has announced that certain parts of Alabama, Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, and West Virginia have been designated federal disaster areas as a result of severe storms, winds, tornados, and flooding. Taxpayers in the federally-designated areas are granted relief from penalties associated with various return filing and tax payment deadlines.
