Company Finance Professionals Could Benefit from Additional Training Sources: KPMG Survey

According to a survey released today by KPMG LLP, the audit, tax and advisory firm, business executives reported they would value new training options for their finance professionals, citing declining levels of confidence in the effectiveness of existing programs. In fact, more than a third of respondents said specific, structured and easily accessible training would be beneficial and improve training at their companies.

In KPMG’s 2012 Human Capital and Learning Survey, which surveyed more than 100 human resources, accounting, and finance directors, “companies were found to be just trying to meet the immediate needs of their employees,” said Patricia Maslov, Executive Director, KPMG Learning.
