About the job

The candidate will be expected to:

  • Handle several clients/portfolios including advising clients on various business transactions such as cross-border transactions (including equity and debt investments, financing, leasing and trading), corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions and stamp duty/property tax.
  • Support senior team members when dealing with clients starting from pre-engagement to post-engagement by preparing tax returns (for compliance only), response letters, caveats, and appeal letters (for tax disputes only) as well as organizing documents for filing purposes.
  • Develop innovative tax solutions for our clients, taking into consideration a sound knowledge of their businesses.

Desired skills & experience

  • A degree in Accounting or Taxation from an accredited university with a strong academic background and a minimum GPA of 3.00 out of 4.00.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Having one to two years relevant working experience in a leading public accounting firm is a plus point.
  • The ability to understand and a good knowledge of tax regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently and on a team.
  • A good command of verbal and written English.
