December 20: The Joint Committee on Taxation (JCT) today released a description and analysis of certain tax provisions in the president’s fiscal year (FY) 2014 budget proposal—submitted to Congress in April 2013.

The JCT report provides a description of present law and the proposal (including effective date), and a discussion of policy issues related to certain proposals.
