- Nick Roome to join KPMG’s Manchester office from DLA Piper
KPMG has appointed Nick Roome as a new partner to lead its Legal Services practice in Manchester. Nick Roome joins from DLA Piper in Manchester and will lead KPMG’s team in the North, taking up his position in the late spring.
KPMG’s Legal Services practice is a well-established part of KPMG’s wider UK tax practice and has worked with the tax team nationwide for a number of years. The Manchester legal services team currently comprises a tax litigation team, which has been in place for over ten years. In addition, KPMG has a team of advisers on corporate and employment law who help provide multi-disciplinary tax services to clients where required.
Nick Roome is a corporate partner with broad corporate, private equity and commercial legal expertise. He has been focussed on the market in the north of England, but also has extensive experience working with clients on an international basis. He qualified at Addleshaws, Manchester in 2000 and then moved to DLA Piper, Manchester in 2005.

KPMG already has a well established legal services practice and I look forward to helping it grow and develop further in the North.”
