An estimated US$60 billion is needed each year until 2022 to fulfil all the infrastructure needs in the region. The energy and transport sectors are expected to make up the biggest proportion of this investment.
With slow growth expected to continue in the mature markets of North America and Western Europe, more investors may choose to venture into ASEAN markets.
