KPMG’s 2014 Global Audit Committee Survey captures the views of nearly 1,500 audit committee members around the world on a range of timely issues—from the top challenges facing companies in the year ahead and the audit committee’s increasing workload, to corporate performance, the effectiveness of the CFO and finance organization, and the quality of the information directors receive about the company’s key risks. The survey indentifies international trends and provides data for specific countries (including Russia).

The future of corporate reporting: towards a common vision

KPMG has published a new report which brings together a range of Western business leaders discussing the direction that corporate reporting needs to take. The report contains the views of influential figures from key different vantage points in the financial chain – preparers, users, standard-setters, regulators and auditors– on the changes required to the traditional corporate reporting model, which no longer meets the needs of investors and other stakeholders.

Global Audit Committee Survey

This survey captures the views of approximately 1,800 audit committee members in 21 countries on issues that create challenges for audit committees. The issues range from financial reporting and disclosures, audit quality, and oversight of internal and external auditors, to risk management and crisis readiness, emerging technologies, and audit committee effectiveness. The survey indentifies international trends and provides data for specific countries (including Russia).

Corporate governance practice in Russia: Defining the boundaries of the national model (Russian version only)

This Survey is based on the results of a unique quantitative survey of more than 100 managers and heads of corporate governance at leading Russian companies. It also uses expert views obtained from around twenty interviews conducted especially for the project.
