Issue 14, Summer 2013

Dear friends,

Welcome to the Summer 2013 issue of K-Community, the newsletter for KPMG alumni.

With the holiday season in full swing, we would like to wish those of you who are going on leave an excellent holiday, so that you come refreshed and reinvigorated, ready for more success at work on your return.

This issue features details of the latest surveys by KPMG and our recent events, as well as an interview with Guerman Ainbinder. In addition, it gives you the chance to share your views on the Alumni programme, and tells you about vacancies at KPMG for experienced professionals and our corporate citizenship and sustainability activities.

Let's hope this summer is remembered for excellent weather, exciting travel and great times!

In this issue, we present an interview with Guerman Ainbinder, a director at Wind Power, a renewable energy company. Wind Power is part of the DTEK group, which occupies a leading position in Ukraine’s fuel and energy market.

The most important recent events for KPMG have been our participation in the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum 2013 and our support for business forums in Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Novgorod and Rostov-on-Don on preparations for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. We are also delighted to share with you some good news: for the second year running, KPMG has been recognised as the best tax advisory firm in Russia.

KPMG's latest surveys and publications are listed below:

In addition, for employees on the Alumni programme only, KPMG is offering a free copy of Insights into IFRS 2011/2012 – 8th edition (in Russian). To claim your copy, please send a request with your details (name, place of work, position and contact email). We will get in touch and suggest further actions.

As ever, this issue contains a section on vacancy announcements for experienced professionals and a report on our corporate citizenship and sustainability activities.

We also invite you to fill in a brief survey on the Alumni programme and the K-Community newsletter. There are only six questions, so it shouldn't take long. Your opinion is very important to us!

Last but not least, we remind that you can always keep up to date with our news through KPMG's Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn accounts.
