United Kingdom - Finance bill status report; other developments 

April 26: The Finance bill has completed the second reading and the first part of the

Committee stages.

Certain clauses were considered by the Committee of the Whole House, and the remaining clauses are to be considered by a Public Bill Committee (the first sitting of which was Tuesday, 23 April 2013). It is expected that the Public Bill Committee will complete its work on the legislation by Thursday, 20 June 2013, after which the bill will progress through the Commons at the report stage and with the third reading.
