Annik Amireault, CHRA, Eng.
Talent Attraction Manager, Québec
After studying mechanical engineering at Montréal's École de technologie supérieure (ETS) and obtaining her engineering degree, Annik worked for an industrial engineering consulting firm as a project manager for four years, during which time she optimized work procedures and manufacturing processes for various clients. In 2004, Annik decided to take on new challenges and signed a two month contract with the Campus Recruiting team at KPMG's Montréal office. Through this position, she got to know KPMG employees and discovered a work environment and corporate culture that fit her values and aspirations.
In early 2005, Annik accepted a permanent position as Montréal Scheduling Coordinator within KPMG's Audit practice - a major career change. Her solid grounding in engineering allowed her to quickly propose and make changes to the process in place. Barely seven months after taking up her duties, Annik was offered a Human Resources Administrator position, which she eagerly accepted; she took part in a variety of HR projects, particularly in the area of campus recruiting. In 2007, she accepted a new position entirely focused in this area as head of Campus Recruiting for the Montréal office and a member of the National Campus Recruiting team. In 2013, Annik moved to Recruiting Operations Manager and ensures the promotion of national projects. Since August 2014, Annik shares her time between Talent Attraction and Human Resource Consulting for KPMG’s Montréal office.
