KPMG’s WebEx on R&D Expenditure Credit – 13 February

KPMG hosted a WebEx on 13th February covering the new Research & Development expenditure credit.

 

This WebEx:

  • Gave a background of the new regime – including its highlights and potential benefits, explained the seven step offset process and gave a direction of what you should be doing now.
  • Discussed the issues relevant to UK GAAP and IFRS accounting in considering whether the credit should be accounted for above or below the line, and also discussed the timing of recognition.
  • Speakers included: Helen Sant, David Woodward, Andrew Vials and Gavin Bate
