KPMG is pleased to have been named ‘Global Firm of the Year’ at the British Accountancy Awards, the prestigious awards event for the accountancy industry.The judges praised KPMG for its “diversity of client base” and “commitment to corporate responsibility”.

KPMG in the UK has once again been named as one of the Top 10 Employers for Working Families, repeating our success from 2011. The annual awards recognise the progressive UK employers who support parents, carers and flexible workers with work-life balance and career development.

KPMG in the UK’s commitment to gender equality in the workplace has earned us a place in the Top 10 Employers for Gender 2012 and the Golden Status in the Opportunity Now Benchmark, the UK’s most comprehensive survey of gender equality and diversity in the workplace.

KPMG in the UK has achieved a prestigious place in the Top 10 Employers for Ethnicity 2012 and the Silver Status in the Race for Opportunity benchmark demonstrating a clear strategic commitment to achieving racial equality, diversity and inclusion.

KPMG’s global crowdsourcing tool, BraveBanana, received a special award for ‘Innovation in Engagement Practice’ at The Sunday Times Best Big Companies to Work For 2012 awards.

KPMG in the UK has once again achieved Platinum Plus status in this year’s Business in the Community (BITC) Corporate Responsibility Index - one of just 15 companies ‘proud to be platinum’ and the only Big Four firm to be recognised for its CSR activities Europe-wide.

KPMG is now an Accredited Living Wage Employer

KPMG has achieved the Carbon Trust Standard. The Carbon Trust Standard is a mark of excellence that has been awarded to KPMG in recognition of measuring, managing and reducing our carbon emissions.

KPMG has been awarded two new Big Ticks for Education and Building Stronger Communities programmes and one re-accreditation for our employability programme in the prestigious Business in the Community's 2012 Awards for Excellence.

KPMG holds the CommunityMark; we were one of the '20 pioneer companies' awarded the Mark in 2008 which we maintain to this day. The CommunityMark is the UK's only national standard that publicly recognises excellence in community investment.

Private Client Practitioner has named KPMG in its list of Top 25 Accountancy Firms.

KPMG Europe LLP’s Information Protection and Business Resilience practice has been voted 'Information Security Consultancy of the Year' by SC Magazine.

KPMG has been recognised with two awards by the Management Consultancies Association (MCA) in the annual ceremony which recognises and celebrates excellence in management consultancy.

KPMG has been named Graduate Employer of the Year in the Targetjobs National Graduate Recruitment Awards.

KPMG's commitment to diversity and inclusivity has earned a place in this year's Times Top 50 Employers for Women list. This is the second year that the firm has made it into the top 50 list of companies leading the way in gender equality in the workplace.

KPMG was voted Sustainable Firm of the year at the inaugural industry awards by the International Accounting Bulletin.

Financial Times and Mergermarket have named KPMG ‘Accountancy Firm of the Year’ at the European M&A Awards 2011.

The 2011 awards also saw the firm triumph in three other award categories in the face of strong competition – scooping Audit Award of the Year, Training Manager of the Year Award and the Community Award.

The Private Client practice at KPMG in the UK has won 'Accountancy Firm of the Year' at the prestigious STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) Awards. This is the second time in three years that the KPMG private client practice in the UK has won this award.

Global Investor Magazine named KPMG as accountancy firm of the year. Judges praised the firm’s investment management practice for the high quality of research that helps firms obtain a clear understanding of the 'global picture' in an increasingly fractured financial services market.

This award recognises the work that we have done in bringing our best VAT people together in governance, process, outsourcing and technology. This means that our team are aligned with your needs and are able to deliver the specialist skills that are increasingly demanded. The judges felt our team “demonstrated on the global stage that indirect tax risk, process and technology are inextricably linked, and as such have developed a team that can deliver on all three fronts”.

KPMG is committed to providing high levels of assurance to our clients in relation to confidentiality and information security. To this end, KPMG has successfully extended the scope of our current Information Security certification (ISO27001) to include client data in our core systems, our business assets and physical security.

KPMG was named Living Wage Employer of the Year by London Citizens at their AGM in December 2010.  KPMG has paid the Living Wage since 2006 and hosted a major event in November at which Boris Johnson, Mayor of London, urged more London businesses to sign up to pay their cleaning and contract staff at least a Living Wage (currently £7.85 an hour)

KPMG was named Global Firm of the Year at the Accountancy Age Awards 2010 last night, and was also proud to win three other accolades - Business Recovery Project of the Year, Young Accountant of the Year and Accounting Technician of the Year.
