In securing the repeat award for "Sustainable Firm of the Year", the KPMG Global Citizenship team demonstrated KPMG's global leadership across a range of corporate sustainability initiatives.
 

Highlights include the Global Green Initiative for environmental sustainability, which has seen KPMG firms meet aggressive goals in reducing emissions and increasing energy efficiency.

 

KPMG's Climate Change & Sustainability Services was recognised by the 2013 Verdantix Global Sustainability Leaders Survey: Brands, which scored KPMG highest among all organisations on brand preference for sustainability assurance services1.
 

Other sustainability initiatives highlighted included the KPMG Global Development Initiative, which is focused on helping find sustainable solutions to global and local poverty issues.

 

The IAB Awards judges took special note of KPMG's dedication to new corporate citizenship initiatives across its network,offering thought leadership, research projects as well as internal initiatives making the organisations increasingly sustainable worldwide.

Marketing Public Relations Award 2011 - PRINZ

  

KPMG won the highly coveted Marketing Public Relations award at the 2011 annual Public Relations Institute of New Zealand (PRINZ) awards for strategically marketing and promoting our Agribusiness sector.  

 

 

 In bestowing the award the judges commented that reasons KPMG won were:

 

"KPMG sought new business, identified a gap in the market and filled it. This project demonstrates true marketing PR – the sustained development and maintenance of reputation and relationships, based on sound research and internal buy-in and commitment. It was a well-planned and comprehensive marketing campaign that was highly successful."

New Zealand Defence bestowed this award to KPMG for providing staff with time off to complete territorial training.

 

2008 Transfer Pricing Advisor of the year

Kim Jarrett from our Auckland tax team won the Transfer Pricing Advisor of the year award from KPMG International.

National Infrastructure Awards, 2010
