KPMG in Kazakhstan and Central Asia is pleased to announce new appointments.
On 1 October, 2014 Rustem Sadykov took over the role of Head of Tax and Legal at KPMG in Kazakhstan and Central Asia. Rustem has been with KPMG in Kazakhstan since 1999. He works with a wide range of domestic and foreign clients, and his areas of specialization include corporate and indirect taxes, international tax, tax treaties and tax structuring. With respect to his sector specialization, he extensively advises some of the leading petroleum and mining corporations with upstream assets in Kazakhstan on various tax issues surrounding these industries.


Inna Alkhimova has been appointed Tax Partner for KPMG in Kazakhstan and Central Asia. Inna has been with KPMG for more than 13 years and has been providing tax advisory and tax compliance services to international and domestic clients operating in various sectors of economy in Kazakhstan. For the last four years, she has been leading the Financial Services specialization within the Tax practice at KPMG in Kazakhstan. Inna has extensive experience in taxation in Kazakhstan, including taxation in oil & gas, financial services, private equity, telecommunication, pharmaceuticals and consumer markets. Her areas of specialization include corporate taxation, cross-border taxation and international transaction structuring, group reorganizations, transfer pricing and general tax advisory.


Oxana Borisova has been appointed Director, Management Consulting at KPMG in Kazakhstan and Central Asia. Oxana joined KPMG in 2013 and has been providing IT advisory services. Oxana has managed and implemented a number of large-scale engagements for the national companies, oil and gas and energy companies, banks and insurance companies. She has deep knowledge of all aspects of implementation of different systems, including SAP and Oracle. She also has extensive experience in managing projects related to IT strategy and selection of information systems for business management.
