Geetu is a Partner with the Forensic – Investigations and Dispute Advisory practice of KPMG in India. She is a Chartered Accountant from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and comes with over 24 years of work experience across practice areas of forensic services and investigations, disputes, litigations and evidence management, and valuation and audit services. In her current role at KPMG in India, she is part of the leadership team to lead the Disputes and Investigations practice, with an enhanced focus on areas such as technology driven solutions in Forensic (forensic technology / e-discovery / cyber forensics) and in new emerging areas such as managed legal services, document review services and the Global Legal Office Transformations Solutions (GLOTS).
Geetu has worked very closely with the legal fraternity and specially leading law firms, both in India and overseas. She is highly active in her relevant marketplace and has been the chosen as an expert witness for commercial disputes as well as a favoured forensic investigator for her ability to provide straight forward, fact based and objective and detailed opinions in a simple and transparent manner. Geetu’s opinions have been tested from time to time by arbitral tribunals, regulatory authorities, enforcement, and investigation agencies. She has worked on several sensitive and headline matters. Geetu also actively participates as an impactful speaker at several relevant events and forums closer to her area of domain.
