David Reaney

David is a Partner in the Indirect Tax team in Belfast, specialising in UK indirect taxes. David has worked in indirect taxes for over 17 years, training at KPMG and then gaining experience at HM Revenue & Customs and another Big 4 firm before returning to KPMG as Partner in 2023. David advises clients across a broad range of sectors, including on VAT compliance, systems and processes, VAT recovery, corporate changes, international supply chains and many other areas. David has a particular interest in managing the relationship between clients and HMRC and in the unique VAT and customs position of Northern Ireland.
