The platform also provides for the sharing of leading practices and conducting an ongoing dialogue on the evolution of internal controls.

The Advisory Institute helps provide education and outreach to companies and their stakeholders regarding section 404 reporting by leading and facilitating topical discussions and events, supporting and covering academic research and providing thought leadership.

What sets the Institute apart from other section 404 resources currently available in the marketplace is the fact that it is committed to providing members with diverse views on the issues ― not just KPMG’s perspective. Since its inception, the Advisory Institute has sponsored a series of educational and informational programs that provide corporate executives with resources to help meet section 404 and other compliance deadlines.

To date, the Institute has attracted more than 23,000 members ― comprising C-level executives, audit committee members, internal auditors, academics, members of Advisory Institute project teams and other interested parties.
