Global

International development

Everywhere around us, both in our local communities and further afield, there are people in need — homeless people, orphans, people afflicted by hunger and disease, people trapped in a desperate cycle of poverty and deprivation.

Through effective international development we can help to reduce the impact that extreme poverty and inequality has on people around the world. That is why KPMG International established the Global Development Initiative – an innovative program that takes our commitment to corporate citizenship to a new global level, bringing together KPMG people from around the world so that they can put their skills to work in pursuit of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).

KPMG firms achieve this by using our skills and our resources to become fully involved in finding sustainable solutions to global and local issues, working alongside non-governmental organizations (NGOs), the UN and public-private networks. By working alongside organizations such as Oxfam, Save the Children, UNICEF and World Vision, KPMG people have already made an impact on some pressing global issues. Could you help us continue this work?
