Quality Assurance and Value for Money

KPMG, as one of Africa’s leading advisory firms, has a reputation for delivering a consistently high standard of service to our extensive and diverse client base. Our work programmes are subject to the KPMG international Quality Performance Review process (QPR). All products and deliverables are subjected to a rigorous external quality performance review process annually. The process involves reviewing assignments based on contractual obligations with clients and also against KPMG Risk Management policies. Obtaining satisfactory results from inspections and oversight reviews is a condition of remaining part of the KPMG network of firm.

IDAS is also committed to delivering value for money to its clients. The firm maintains highly competitive overheads and has been recognized for adding significant value to the donor programmes it manages. For example, DFID’s 2012 mid-term review of the IDAS-managed Accountability in Tanzania programme notes, “It is highly improbable that DFID could manage the portfolio itself as effectively as the AcT team.”
