KPMG East Africa has appointed Peter Kinuthia to the position of Partner within the Tax Services Unit.

 

Peter holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from the University of Nairobi and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (Strategic Management) from the United States International University. He is also a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya, the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya and an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya.

 

Peter has extensive experience in the provision of general and specialised tax and leads the firm’s Transfer Pricing practice in East Africa.

 

 

KPMG East Africa has appointed George Manu to the position of Partner within the International Development Advisory Services (IDAS) Unit in East Africa.

 

He holds a Ph.D degree in Business Administration from Durham University, UK and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK.

 

George who will be leading the West Africa IDAS hub has experience in the private sector, academia and the UN and has carried out specialist assignments in management consulting, private sector and SME development in over 50 countries on four continents.

 

 

KPMG East Africa has appointed Jane Mugo to the position of Partner and Chief Operating Officer.

 

Jane holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from the University of Nairobi and a Master’s Degree in International Business Administration from Temple University, US.

She is also a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya.

 

Jane is experienced in Financial Audits, Business Advisory, Risk Management and Operational Effectiveness across various sectors in East Africa and the US. 

 

 

KPMG East Africa has appointed Smita Sanghrajka to the position of Partner within the International Development Advisory Services (IDAS) Unit in East Africa.

 

Smita holds a Bachelor of Science (Economics) from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). With practical experience in East Africa as well as globally, Smita’s areas of experience include programme design, grant and fund management, financial management and sustainability, performance improvement, capacity building, and monitoring and evaluation.

 

 

KPMG East Africa has appointed Andrew Jackson to the position of Partner and Head of Advisory and Markets for East Africa. Andrew, who is transferring from the UK partnership, specialises in emerging markets and the financial sector. He has worked on assignments in more than 40 countries and has advised global companies on their entry and growth strategies in various markets.

 

Andrew is a Chartered Accountant and has specialised in banking and finance having worked with many of the world’s leading financial institutions in the UK and overseas. He was also a member of the European Executive Committee for several years.
