Hong Kong Incorporated Entities - Latest Updates

Lehman Brothers Holding Incorporated filed for bankruptcy in the US courts on 15 September, 2008.

KPMG China partners Paul Brough, Edward Middleton and Patrick Cowley were appointed by the Hong Kong High Court as Provisional Liquidators of the eight Lehman HK Companies, on 17 and 19 September, 2008. In March 2009, the Provisional Liquidators were approved by the High Court to continue in office as Liquidators of the Hong Kong entities.

This website serves as an information source for all eight entities. It provides regular progress updates and latest news as the Liquidators continue to work on the preservation, protection and any subsequent sale of assets. Please contact us with additional queries.

Update Notice for Investors in relation to "Horizon II Programme"

(September 2011) The Liquidators of Lehman Brothers Commercial Corporation Asia Limited ("LBCCA") wish to inform noteholders of the Horizon II International Limited's Secured Continuously Offered Note Programme ("Horizon II Programme").

Notice of Court Application Regarding Client Assets: Deadline for enquiries or comments (1pm, August 23)

(August 2011) This notice is to highlight that the Liquidators of LBSAL have filed an application with the Hong Kong High Court.

Trust Assets Bar Date Notice: Deadline of 5pm, December 10, 2010

(December 2011) This notice is a reminder with regards to bar date orders, dated August 25 2010, relating to claims or any interest in or to trust assets. It also relates to claims based on a lien or other security interests.

Extension of Time to Disclaim Onerous Contracts

(September 2010) The LBCCAL and LBAL have obtained from the Hong Kong High Court an extension of time before which onerous contracts must be disclaimed. An extension until 16 September 2011 has been granted.

Trust Assets Bar Date Notice

(September 2010) The Companies acting by their respective Joint and Several Liquidators ("Liquidators") as agents without personal liability, request asset owners to file claims for their trust assets. The deadline to file these claims is December 10.
