In October, Universum presented the world's Top 50 most attractive employers. This is the first global index highlighting the most powerful employer brands that excel in talent attraction and retention. KPMG ranked the Eighth based on responses from close to 120,000 students surveyed at top universities around the world.
In August, Universum also released the results of its survey aimed at Chinese students. KPMG was ranked the Fourth among business students in Hong Kong. In China, we were ranked 17th.
Further, our recruitment efforts in China are recognised across KPMG's global network. We won the "Best College Recruitment Initiative" in KPMG's first Global Recruitment Awards. According to the judges, KPMG China won this category due to our original approach to graduate recruitment, which included banner advertisements on high profile websites (www.yingjiesheng.com | www.hiall.com.cn), the development of a "Get to know KPMG" quiz and an UpdateMe newsletter.
