Experience

· Steven Hunt has over 14 years experience in delivering audit and other assurance services within KPMG’s financial services practice.

· An audit director in his home office in Jersey, Steven has also held senior positions in KPMG’s member firms in the Cayman Islands and the British Virgin Islands, where he was responsible for the successful re-establishment of KPMG’s audit practice from 2005 to 2007.

· Steven is currently the engagement director for the audits of a diverse range of financial services clients. His deep knowledge of local laws and regulations lends his portfolio a natural bias towards regulated businesses such as banks, trust companies, and fund managers/administrators.

· He also maintains a strong interest in funds and alternative investments, and a significant proportion of his work comprises leading the delivery of audits of large umbrella fund platforms, private equity, mezzanine and property funds, and special purpose investment vehicles.

· Steven sits on the Technical Committee of the Jersey Society of Chartered and Certified Accountants.
