Experience
· Jason Laity is an Executive Director of KPMG in the Channel Islands.
· Jason’s expertise is predominantly UK private client work, typically for UK resident non-domiciled individuals, offshore financial services sector businesses, or clients of those businesses. Engagements he leads range from straightforward compliance engagements to complex restructuring arrangements with clients spread across many jurisdictions. He has extensive exposure to investigation type engagements involving offshore structures, including liaison with HMRC at a senior level.
· Jason is a regular media commentator and speaker at conferences in the Channel Islands and further afield on that subject. In 2007, he was one of only three accountants in the Channel Islands to be included in the “CityWealth” Top 100 trust, legal, banking and investment management professionals in Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man.
· Jason is the Chair of the Tax Sub-Committee of the Jersey branch of the Institute of Directors and sits on the Executive Committees of the Jersey Taxation Society and the Committee of the Jersey branch of the Chartered Institute of Taxation.
