Peter Uebelhart joined KPMG in January 2001. Since 2002 he has been a Partner of KPMG in Switzerland. He became Head of M&A Tax Switzerland in 2002 and Head of International Corporate Tax in Zurich in 2005. In 2012 he was appointed Head of Tax, Legal, BOS and became a member of the Executive Committee.
Prior to KPMG he has worked for 6 years in the tax practice of a large International Accounting Firm. Peter Uebelhart has profound knowledge and experience in Swiss and foreign tax structures as well as inbound, outbound and domestic M&A transactions and reorganizations. Furthermore, Peter Uebelhart has been engaged in many due diligence assignments. Apart from providing structuring services to clients he provides tax consulting to various clients regarding international as well as Swiss corporate tax matters. He has substantial expertise in the energy and electricity sector as well Diversified Industrials and Retail.
