Start your career in Audit 

As a prospective auditor, you are the first point of contact for our clients in all finance-related matters. You examine the key business processes of our national and international clients across a variety of sectors, and play an active role in the auditing of consolidated and annual financial statements, as well as in special audits. You gain a good insight into the varied and exciting world of our discerning clients on site. From the first day you can benefit from the expertise of your experienced colleagues.

Depending on your area of interest, choose one of the following areas:

 

In Audit, we examine companies from all sectors (e.g. Pharmaceuticals, Consumer Goods & Retail, etc . with the exception of Financial Services companies)

 

In Audit FS we examine companies such as banks, insurance companies, capital investment and fund companies or brokers.

 

Further training

Depending on your preliminary training, during your first three or four years as an employee of our company, you will complete further training on a part-time basis to become a certified auditor. KPMG supports you with the time, financial assistance and expertise required to pursue this further training. The high number of employees who complete this training successfully speaks for itself. If you are deemed suitable, your career path could, of course, take you all the way to becoming a partner.

 

 

Professional requirements

În order to gain an entry-level position in Audit, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration
  • Ideally with a specialization in accounting, controlling or, banking and finance
  • Some initial, specific practical experience is an advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of the respective local language and good English skills.
