Jürg Leu is an Attorney-at-Law in the Zurich office. He is a member of the Regulatory Competence Center of KPMG.

Prior to joining KPMG, Jürg worked as Head Legal for a Swiss private bank. Previously he was Head of Product Management / member of the board as well as Head Legal & Compliance / member of the board of two fund management companies. Furthermore he worked in various functions at the SIX Swiss Exchange.
Jürg advises Swiss and foreign corporate clients in various aspects of business law. His main areas of practice are banking and finance law, law on collective investment schemes as well as stock exchange law. His clients include regulated businesses such as banks, securities dealers and regulated institutions under the Collective Investment Schemes Act.
He has published a doctoral thesis in the field of stock exchange: „The liability resulting from non-observation of the duty to disclose price sensitive facts (ad-hoc-publicity) based on the listing rules of the SWX Swiss Exchange”
