Lisa is excited to work with both the Enterprise and Audit groups over the course of this summer. A native of Saskatoon, Lisa has attended the Edwards School of Business at the University of Saskatchewan for the past three years, and is looking forward to graduating in the spring of 2012. Within the Edwards School of Business, Lisa holds the position of Vice President of Finance on the Edwards Business Students’ Society (EBSS). The EBSS operates as a not-for-profit organization with an operating budget of over $250,000, the majority of which is raised through sponsorship and events.
Outside of work, Lisa might be found at drop-in dance and yoga classes, baking or doing crafts, socializing with friends, or working out.
Kyla Gillespie

Kyla started with KPMG in January 2010 as a Co-op Student. During her co-op intern, she assisted in the first annual KidSport barbecue as well as volunteered for the Children’s Hospital Foundation Radiothon. She worked in the audit practice with a focus on not-for-profit clients. Outside of work, she enjoys camping, playing slow-pitch, cooking, spending time with family and friends, and learning new languages. During her university career, Kyla completed 12 credit units of French as well as an elementary course in Russian.
Kyla returned to KPMG for a summer intern in May 2011. What she enjoyed most during her time at KPMG was participating in the social events, including the company golf tournament.
Jesse Haga

Jesse Haga is a summer intern from the University of Saskatchewan. This summer she will be working with KPMG’s Tax, Enterprise, and Audit practices. Prior to going to university, Jesse worked at Maple Leaf Foods in a management position as a Food Safety Coordinator. During the summer months, Jesse enjoys dirt biking, running outside and hanging out at the lake. Jesse has a positive outlook on life and can find a positive in every situation.
Jesse looks forward to tagging along to client meetings and participating in company audits. Jesse is excited to meet new friends and build lasting relationships throughout her summer internship with KPMG. She loves country music and is excited to experience the Calgary Stampede for the first time.
Matt B. McIntyre

This summer, Matt worked through rotations at KPMG in Audit, Enterprise, Tax, and SVP. Matt really enjoyed the week of doing audit on the Calgary Stampede. Matt is a sports enthusiast and loves all sports but his favorites are hockey, baseball, and football. When not playing or watching sports, Matt enjoys travelling and has already enjoyed trips to Europe, Mexico, Colorado, and Florida. He is excited for the opportunities later in his working career for KPMG employees to work in KPMG member firm offices in other places around the world. Matt loves hanging out at the cabin every weekend in the summer and most likely set a record for number of tries trying to get up on a wakeboard before being successful (it is still a running total carried over from last year).

Matt attends the University of Saskatchewan and has been accepted into MPAcc in 2012. He is fluent in French and loves to travel. This summer Matt will be working in SVP, E-Audit, Enterprise, Audit, and is very excited to be auditing the Stampede! Matt enjoys all things outdoors and can’t wait to go to Kananaskis to go kayaking.
Jaclyn D. Paetsch

This summer Jaclyn will be working with KPMG’s Tax, Advisory, and Audit practices as well as doing a two week rotation in SVP. Jaclyn is a third year student at the University of Saskatchewan and grew up in the small town of Lanigan, SK. She enjoys travelling and has been to Europe, United States and Mexico. Outside of work Jaclyn enjoys playing various sports including hockey, football, volleyball and soccer. Camping and spending time at the lake is her favorite summer activity. Other hobbies include reading, shopping and doing puzzles.
Deanne Urquhart

Deanne Urquhart is very excited to be spending her summer in Calgary as a summer intern at KPMG. Deanne is in her 3rd year in Edwards School of Business at the U of S. This summer she will be spending her time gaining experience in Audit, Tax-Energy, E audit and Enterprise. Deanne is an avid traveler and hopes to peruse this throughout her career at KPMG. In the last two and a half years she has travelled to more than 8 countries including Fiji, Italy, Germany, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand and lived in Australia for a year. She enjoys reading, snowboarding, and being with friends.
Deanne is most excited to begin her experience in public practice at KPMG and have a fantastic summer with the other interns in Calgary. This will be her first summer in Calgary and she is excited for the opportunities KPMG and Calgary have to offer.
