Investors in People is a leading people management standard, developed in the UK, that specialises in transforming business performance through people by encouraging continuous improvement and development of employees. In order to be awarded this prestigious designation, a company is subject to a comprehensive evaluation by a qualified Investors in People Assessor; to maintain the award, re-assessments occur every three years.
In 2009, KPMG was awarded the Investors in People Standard Award and successfully gained re-accreditation in 2012. In 2015, KPMG in Bermuda was awarded the Gold Accreditation, recognising best practices in people management.
KPMG underwent the rigorous review in October 2015 and has emerged as the only professional services provider on the island to have achieved Gold Accreditation, and joins just three other organisations in Bermuda at the highest IIP standard.
