Khalid Rahim 

  

  

Khalid is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales. He is Senior Consultant of the firm.

 

Khalid's experience spans a wide spectrum of International Corporate Finance work involving Takeovers and Mergers (both hostile and recommended), Defenses, Capital Raisings (including IPO, convertible instruments, structured products and private placements), Acquisitions and Disposals (including controlled auctions), Capital and Debt restructurings (advising both borrowers and multi-syndicated lending groups), Private Equity, Fund Management and Strategic advisory work for Corporates and Governments across USA, Europe and Asia.

 

Khalid was based in London, UK, for the majority of his professional career to date and was previously Managing Director, Corporate Finance, at Barclays de Zoete Wedd Limited (“BZW”, now Barclays Capital), the investment banking arm of Barclays Bank, one of the largest UK based banking groups. He was at BZW for 11 years.

 

Since work at BZW, Khalid was Group Chief Executive at a UK based financial services group engaged in Private Equity and Fund Management.

 

Whilst at UK Khalid was an authorised Corporate Finance Advisor and an authorised Fund Manager (fund of funds) and Investment Advisor, all authorisations from the Financial Services Authority, UK.

 

Khalid is a graduate of Nottingham University, UK, (BA Hons in Economics) and has an MA in Finance and Investments from Exeter University, UK.
