Gary Wingrove

Gary Wingrove is National Managing Partner of KPMG’s Advisory practice in Australia. This role gives him overall responsibility for the practice’s three service groups: Transactions & Restructuring, Performance & Technology, and Risk & Compliance.

He is also Deputy Leader of KPMG’s Advisory practice in the Asia-Pacific region and leader of Transactions & Restructuring in the region.

Gary joined KPMG’s Corporate Finance practice in 1997 from a background in auditing and finance in South Africa and Australia. He became a KPMG partner in 2000 and led the Melbourne and then the national Valuations team until 2007. He has also been National Head of Corporate Finance and National Managing Partner, Financial Advisory Services.

His professional focus includes public fairness opinions on mergers and acquisitions, valuations of businesses, shares and intangibles, and general corporate advice associated with transactions. His clients have included some of Australia’s largest corporates.
