KPMG International commissioned an Economist Intelligence Unit study surveying 418 executives, which revealed:
- 81 percent believe putting in place the most effective talent management strategy is key to the competitive success of the organisation
- 60 percent of organisations increased their use of virtual workspaces while 48 percent reduced their reliance on physical office premises
- 55 percent of organisations hired more contractual or temporary workers in the past 3 years.
