The research captures the views of leaders in business, government and academia.

Environmental issues, major trading partner weakness, asset price collapse, fiscal crisis, and demographic challenges were identified as the biggest critical risk factors for Australia in the coming decade.

The research found that the opportunities and implications for policy were:

  • climate change
  • concern about adverse global economic events and trends
  • infrastructure underinvestment
  • inadequate R&D.

This report acts as a valuable tool for long term strategy planning and risk profiling.
