Through our Enterprise Development and Socio-Economic Development initiatives, KPMG in South Africa is able to put our specific experience and skills to work for the good of our communities. We share our knowledge and our experience with others to help them succeed: whether it is in a profit-orientated business environment or for the sustainable development of community-centred organisations.
In South Africa, KPMG was a founding member of Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) at its local inception in 2002 and has remained actively involved ever since. Working through South African tertiary institutions, SIFE mobilises students to make a difference in their communities while they strive to develop their skills to become socially responsible business leaders. We support SIFE financially and through the provision of professional advisory services and other skills-based intellectual input. Yunus Suleman, Chairman of the Policy Board and Bryan Leith, Executive Partner for Regional Offices, are active Board members of SIFE in South Africa.
