KPMG wins ‘Top Gender Empowered Company’ Award 

KPMG was awarded the overall Top Gender Empowered Company Award at the 2012 Top Women Awards held on 8 August 2012, in addition to being awarded the Top Gender Empowered Company Award: Financial category at the event.

Tantie Fubu, KPMG Policy Board Member, received the award on the firm’s behalf at the 9th annual Top Women Awards dinner held at Emperor’s Palace, Kempton Park, Johannesburg. The awards showcased the top companies at the forefront of gender empowerment in 2012.

 

As winners of the Top Gender Empowered Company Award in the Financial category, KPMG shone against well-established competitors in the industry.

 

The judging panel for the 2012 awards was made up of esteemed business leaders such as Basetsana Kumalo, South African Businesswoman, Christine Ramon, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director at Sasol Limited and Dolly Mokgatle, Executive Director of Peotona Group Holdings.
