2014 Mining Indaba TM

As a proud sponsor of the Mining Indaba App, an all-in-one app to help delegates and interested parties understand economies, countries and opportunities in Mining on the continent, KPMG will have significant presence at this year’s Mining Indaba which takes place in Cape Town on 3 – 6 February 2014. Our global head of Metals and Mining, Rama Ayman will speak about “Improving Africa's Competitiveness in Attracting Investments into its Mining Sector” at the Ministerial Session on Monday 3 February 2014.

In addition, KPMG will support the industry’s efforts at dialogue at a special workshop on Tuesday 4 February 2014 because the firm believes that a successful mining industry in South Africa is in the interest of all stakeholders that are directly and indirectly linked to it; mining companies, government, investors, communities, labour (including unions) and the broader South African economy.
