Bryan Leith is a Chief Operating Officer of KPMG’s Global Africa Practice.
KPMG has committed to a large investment for strengthening its already extensive firms in Africa, principally through investing in deep technical skills, in high growth sectors across the continent. In addition KPMG has invested significantly in creating an unparalleled database of socio-economic, risk, tax, regulatory, fiscal and market entry information in respect of all the major economies in Africa, all of which can be accessed via the recently launched KPMG Africa Business Guide App.
As a COO of Global Africa Practice Bryan is directly responsible for both overseeing KPMG’s investments in Africa as well as acting as a sounding board for Executives and Boards of both multi-national companies as well as emerging regional conglomerates that are investing into and expanding their operations into Africa.
Bryan has over thirty years of experience at KPMG and has worked in many countries across Africa. He has experience in numerous sectors such as: Consumer and Industrial Markets, Metals, Infrastructure, Government, Healthcare and more…Prior to his current role, Bryan started and managed the Government and Emerging Markets business unit. He was the Executive partner for People, a member of the Policy board and a member of the Executive committee. He was also responsible for the Regional Audit and Owner Managed Business (OMB) business units.
Bryan is now a member of the KPMG Africa Executive Committee; he chairs the KPMG South Africa remuneration committee. He also has oversight responsibilities for 11 offices and countries in Southern Africa.
