Global Automotive Executive Survey 2012 

The Global Automotive Executive Survey is KPMG International's annual assessment of the current state and future prospects of the worldwide automotive industry. Two hundred automotive executives participated in this year's survey, and over half of whom are business unit heads or higher.

Among the many highlights of the survey is that while automakers continue to invest heavily in electric propulsion technologies, global automotive executives do not foresee e-car sales to exceed 15 percent of annual global auto sales before 2025. For the immediate future, hybrids will continue to be more popular than pure battery-powered cars.
