Leadership

KPMG (BVI) Limited is pleased to announce the arrival of two new directors, Grant Green and Russell Crumpler. After a transition period Grant and Russell will be taking over as Principals for the BVI office from Tanis and Casey McDonald, who are returning to Canada after four successful years with the BVI firm.

This change in leadership coincides with a move to new offices in the Banco Popular Building. This new office space has the capacity to accommodate KPMG’s growth prospects over the coming years.

Grant Green will assume the role as head of KPMG’s Audit practice, building on the successes achieved by Tanis. Grant’s KPMG career began in 1997 and he arrives in the BVI having previously worked for KPMG in New Zealand, Australia, the UK, Belgium, the United States and, for the last four years, the Cayman Islands. Grant will be responsible for the provision of KPMG (BVI) Limited’s audit and tax services which maintain a particular emphasis on hedge funds and banking, as well as a strong presence in telecommunications, infrastructure and government.

Russell Crumpler will be heading up the Advisory practice, replacing Casey. Russell is also qualified to act as a UK insolvency practitioner. He has moved to the BVI from KPMG’s UK Transactions and Restructuring practice, but had previously spent five years working on a variety of advisory engagements in the Cayman Islands. These engagements included some of the most high profile Hedge Fund liquidations to occur during the recent credit crunch and a number of other complex cross-border insolvencies. Whilst Russell’s specialism is insolvency work, he also has experience advising stressed and distressed companies, providing due diligence reports to stakeholders and assisting with corporate disposals.
