Cloud computing is a new operating model for information technology (IT) services. Seventy percent of IT decision makers are using or planning to use cloud computing in their own enterprise within 24 months.


Although there are significant risks and challenges in the adoption of cloud computing, users and service providers will continue to innovate and push the boundaries to the point where the benefits outweigh the risks. The challenge is for companies to be aware of the risks and the potential materiality of those risks in any cloud computing investment.
