FORTUNE 100 Best Companies to Work For (2012)
KPMG is proud to be named for the sixth consecutive year as one of FORTUNE Magazine’s "100 Best Companies to Work For," FORTUNE partners with the Great Place to Work Institute to conduct the most extensive employee survey in corporate America. Two-thirds of each company's score is based on a satisfaction survey sent to a random sample of employees from each company. The other third is based on an application submitted by each company covering areas such as pay and benefit programs, hiring, communication, and diversity.

Working Mother Magazine’s 100 Best Companies Top 10 (2011)
For the fourth time, KPMG has been honored as a Top Ten organization on Working Mother's 100 Best Companies list. This prestigious accomplishment also marks the 15th time the firm has ranked among the publication's 100 Best. This year, we were applauded for our firm culture, commitment to women’s issues and advancement, and flexibility, among other key elements of the firm's Employer of Choice strategy.

 

Working Mother Magazine’s Best Companies for Multicultural Women (2011)
For the third consecutive year, KPMG has been ranked as one of Working Mother magazine's Best Companies for Multicultural Women. Companies recognized with this honor were assessed in four key areas: company culture, workforce profile, recruitment, and retention and advancement programs. KPMG received exceptionally high marks in company culture, which is reflective of our ongoing efforts to be an Employer of Choice and our commitment to creating a diverse workforce that encourages the professional advancement of women.

 

2011 NAFE Top 50 Companies
The National Association for Female Executives (NAFE) named KPMG as a Top 10 company on its 2011 NAFE Top 50 Companies ranking, which recognizes organizations whose policies and practices encourage women’s advancement and whose numbers at the highest levels of leadership demonstrate that commitment. The ranking examines each organization in a variety of areas, including female representation, hiring, attrition and promotion rates; access and usage of key retention and advancement programs such as mentoring, executive coaching, networking and sponsorship; company culture; and manager training and accountability.


Diversity Inc’s Top 50 Companies for Diversity 2011

For the fourth consecutive year, KPMG has been named to DiversityInc’s Top 50 Companies for Diversity, moving up to No. 15 on the list. The firm also made three specialty lists in 2011: We are now ranked No. 2 among the Top 10 Companies for People with Disabilities, No. 1 among the Top 10 Companies for LGBT Employees and No. 6 among the Top 10 Companies for Global Diversity.

2011 Companies That Care Honor Roll
For the seventh consecutive year, KPMG has been named to the national Companies That Care Honor Roll, recognizing our firm’s deep commitment to elevating the quality of our work environment for our professionals and the quality of life for people in the broader community.


Human Rights Campaign – 2011 Best Places to Work and Best Companies

KPMG has again been recognized for our commitment to supporting equality for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) employees. The firm once again received a perfect score (100 percent) in the Human Right Equality Index.


2009 Catalyst Award
KPMG is proud to be a recipient of the 2009 Catalyst Award, a prestigious honor given to a select few organizations each year in recognition of exceptional programs to support and advance women in business. Catalyst, the leading nonprofit organization working with businesses to build inclusive workplaces and expand opportunities for women, recognized KPMG for its "Great Place to Build a Career" strategy. According to Catalyst, "KPMG's initiative is a comprehensive set of programs, resources, and benefits that has transformed the firm into an inclusive employer of choice which partners and employees, including women and people of color, consider a great place to work."

Innovation in Diversity Award (Profiles in Diversity Journal)
KPMG’s “Straight Allies” program has helped propel the firm to the number 3 spot on the 2010 International Innovation in Diversity Awards. The awards, given by Profiles in Diversity Journal, honor “…corporations, organizations, and institutions that have developed innovative solutions that offer measurable outcomes in the area of workforce diversity and inclusion.” KPMG has been honored by the publication every year since 2007, including recognition for programs like KPMG's Family for Literacy, which strives to help fight childhood illiteracy, and Future Diversity Leaders.

The Black Collegian Magazine
This Top 100 Employer's Survey examined major employers in industry, government and business to find out where the jobs are. Their annual survey provides current information that allows graduates to focus their searches on employers actively hiring.

Best Companies for Diversity
KPMG was again named one of the best organizations for diversity by Diversity/Careers in Engineering and Information Technology, a publication that covers career issues for experienced engineers and information technology professionals in the diverse technical workforce.
