Steel wire garment hangers from Vietnam

January 16: The U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) today determined that steel wire garment hangers imported from Vietnam materially injure U.S. industry. According to the Department of Commerce (Commerce), the steel wire hangers are subsidized and sold in the United States at less than fair value.

As a result of ITC’s affirmative determination, Commerce will issue antidumping and countervailing duty orders on the subject merchandise. The orders concerning these imports will not apply to goods that entered the United States from Vietnam prior to the dates of Commerce's affirmative preliminary determinations.
