Deal strategy

  • What is the best way to enter a new market (acquisition, joint venture or partnership) and how can we make it happen?
  • Which targets should we consider and what would they give us?
  • Is the target’s business plan achievable – can the market absorb management’s volume, mix and price projections (Commercial Due Diligence); and, is the business factoring in sufficient capacity to achieve planned volumes?
  • How robust is the target’s current transformation programme (profit improvement, operating model changes); are targets and actions underpinned by reasonable assertions; is the governance robust with a track record of success?
  • What is the scale of potential revenue and cost synergies?
